*MultiMailer lets you mail a series of unlimited emails that are sent out to prospective customers/consumers over a period of time designated in days by you. Setup is as simple as it gets. Emails are highly customizable, just create them in a text editor and upload to your server. This is similar to the pay system at http://www.a*eber.com, except that with them you only get a set amount of emails to send out. MultiMailer runs on your server and allows you to send as many as you like every day of the year.
- open up emailer_setup.pl in a text editor and set the variables in it.
- set a crontab to emailer.pl (generally to run once a day)
- go into emailer_admin.cgi and create your email and list.
- open remove.tmpl and insert html into the file that you
want anyone removing themselves from the list to see.
NOTE: you must place %%name%% in the html where you want it to
show wether or not it successfully removed the email address.
Notes:
- Emailer will send the admin an email when it has completed the list,
at which time you will have to go in and reset the email to restart
the list again.
- the archive_emailer file will keep a list of all email addresses
that have been sent until you reset it, at which time it will erase the
entire files contents.
